摘要
Pulsewidth modulation (PWM) is a determining factor for the vibration and common-mode (CM) current for motor drives. Using parallel inverters to drive multiwindings motor can bring control freedoms to cancel torque ripples and CM voltage, which would mitigate vibration and CM current. To achieve both goals, a four-module permanent magnet synchronous motor drive has been developed. Then, the carrier phase-shift together with zero CM PWM strategy was proposed to reduce the vibration and CM current. Two kinds of motor winding phase-shift arrangement can be designed for this kind of motor, with corresponding PWM strategies to reduce vibration and CM current together. Comparison has been done for these two kinds of motors with experimental results.
