Cu(II) Coordination Polymer: Synergy Effect with 70 Pearl Flavor Pill on Local Brain Injury by Inhibiting the Inflammatory Signaling Pathway

In the current study, via using a mixed-ligand approach, a new Cu(II) coordination polymer with the chemical formula of {[Cu-2(mu-OH2)(TTPA)(DTDN)(2)center dot DMF]center dot H2O}(n) (1, TTPA = tris(4-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)phenyl)amine, DTDN = 6,6 '-dithiodinicotinate, DMF = N,N-Dimethylformamide) was prepared by reaction of Cu(NO3)(2)center dot 3H(2)O with the two organic ligands in a mixed solvents of DMF and water. Its synergy effect with the 70 pearl flavor pill against the local brain injury was evaluated and the related mechanism was explored at the same time. Molecular docking simulation revealed that the carboxyl functional group, the five-membered ring containing nitrogen and the six-membered ring containing nitrogen have activities to interact with the given probe protein.
