摘要

•A polycrystalline sample of UFe0.39Ge2 synthesized and examined in wide ranges of temperature and external magnetic field.•The phase crystallizes with transition metal deficient orthorhombic crystal structure of CeNiSi2 type.•UFe0.39Ge2 exhibits ferromagnetic ordering below TC = 37 K.•Distinct influence of the crystallographic disorder on physical properties of the investigated phase was revealed.
