Is living in a region with high groundwater arsenic contamination associated with adverse reproductive health outcomes? An analysis using nationally representative data from India

•Groundwater arsenic levels are extremely high across regions of India, with reported effects on reproductive health outcomes.•At the district level, as arsenic levels increase reported rates of stillbirth and recurrent pregnancy loss increase.•District level arsenic levels are also associated with increased rates of reported infertility.•The observed outcomes are highly clustered and spatially dependent.
