The impact of social determinants of health and clinical comorbidities on post-tympanotomy tube otorrhea

•Lower rates of post-tube otorrhea correlate with private insurance.•Lower rates of post-tube otorrhea correlate with non-Hispanic ethnicity.•Higher rates of post-tube otorrhea correlate with cleft lip and/or cleft palate.•Higher rates of post-tube otorrhea correlate with adenoidectomy.•Post-tube otorrhea did not correlate with race, sex, or body mass index.
