Terahertz frequency band provides large enough bandwidth (25 GHz ∼ 50 GHz) for ultra-high-speed wireless communications. Using a 230 GHz RF-frontend operating at a chip rate of 10 Gcps with spectral efficiency of 8 bit/s/Hz, 80 Gbps data rate was achieved for a 1-m wireless link.
