Mechanical, dynamic-mechanical and wear performance of novel non-crimp glass fabric-reinforced liquid thermoplastic composites filled with cellulose microcrystals

摘要
•Cellulose micro crystals (CMC) reinforced recyclable reactive MMA thermoplastic resin and non-crimp fabric glass fibre composites were developed.•CMC particles (0.5, 1 and 2 wt%) were dispersed uniformly in the MMA resin.•Addition of CMC improved the interfacial properties of the composites.•Optimum percentage addition of CMC was determined.•Too much addition (2%) of CMC reduced the mechanical performance of the composites.
