In patients with lymphoma, FDG uptakes in mediastinal lymph nodes were 25 (40.3%), axially lymph nodes in 11 (17.7%), abdominal lymph nodes in 23(36.5%), and inguinal lymph nodes in 12 (19.4%) patients. The proposed CNN model achieves average accuracy of 0.890 0.044 (mean SD), sensitivity of 0.939 0.061, and specificity of 0.844 0.130. Conclusions: This study demonstrated that the CNN model using 18F-FDG-PET/CT uptake pattern could be effective to distinguish between patients with sarcoidosis and lymphoma.
