Combined Pulmonary and Renal Support in One Extracorporeal Device
The thoracic and cardiovascular surgeon(2011)
摘要
Objectives: Combined acute lung (ALI) and kidney (AKI) injury is a common problem in critically ill patients. By combining pulmonary (gasexchange) and renal (hemofiltration) support in one device we seek to provide less artificial surfaces and lower flow resistance. In this report, our initial in-vitro and in-vivo results are presented.
