Adult Primary Central Nervous System Vasculitis

Primary central nervous system vasculitis (PCNSV) is an infrequent and not well understood form of vasculitis that is limited to the brain and spinal cord. However, PCNSV is the most frequent vasculitis involving the central nervous system. Men and women are similarly affected, and the median age at diagnosis is approximately 50 years.
