摘要
There is extensive experience in the transcatheter management of congenital heart defects, and a wide variety of techniques and devices have been developed within the past 30 years. Currently, a more general term, structural heart intervention, has found popularity and refers to the interventional therapy of congenital defects and emerging transcatheter techniques for treating some other cardiac abnormalities including mitral valve repair, aortic and pulmonary valve replacement, valve-in-valve procedures, paravalvular leakage closure, and left atrial occlusion.
