The Analysis of the Flexible Load Sharing Structure of the Ring Gear in Planetary Transmission

Based on the problem that the tooth root stress increased under the thin rim and the deformation of the inner ring gear is not enough under the thick rim, this paper proposes a new flexible load sharing structure of the internal ring gear, which can further improve the deformation of the internal ring gear by the combination of bolts and elastic cotter pins, So that the teeth stress can meet the design requirement while improving the load performance. However, an optimized space existed for the system deformation with flexible internal load, the design of the bolt and elastic cuff also requires strength analysis. In this paper, ABAQUS finite element analysis of the flexible radius, pin thickness and pin number on the stress and deformation of bolts and elastic pin are studied to explore the maximum deformation and reasonable combination of the structural parameters by an orthogonal simulation, the sensitivity analysis is carried out for the bolt deformation, the stress for the bolt and elastic pin. The research of this paper can provide theoretical guidance for the design of planetary gear box ring gear.
