Abstract This is an introduction to a book focusing on the contemporary current strategic management issues that are critical to the growing complexity of relationships between global tourism, predicted climate change and policies for tourism coastal management. The recognition and identification of the problem of climate change in coastal tourism, the responses to the problem, and contemporary policy frameworks are discussed.
