摘要
Air modes in photonic crystal nanobeam cavities offer efficient coupling to air-suspended carbon nanotubes [1,2]. Here we investigate exciton dynamics in the time domain at room temperature. The cavities are fabricated from silicon-on-insulator wafers, and nanotubes are synthesized over the cavities by chemical vapor deposition. Time-resolved photoluminescence measurements are performed on individual nanotubes, and we compare the bright exciton lifetime with and without coupling to the cavity. Purcell enhancement of the exciton recombination is observed [3].
