摘要
Impedance Spectroscopy was applied to study conductivity and dielectric relaxation behavior of Corning’s glasses. The electrical behavior of several glass composition was studied over a wide range of frequency (1Hz -1MHz) and temperature (RT-500C). The relaxation time were calculated by analysis of electrical modulus. The calculated activation energy associated with dielectric relaxation and activation energy of dc conductivity are similar. The obtained values of conductivity confirm dependence of conductivity on number and mobility of ions at glass with different composition. With increasing conductivity, the relaxation time decrease. It was observed, that through entire temperature range, the dielectric relaxation is governed by the same mechanism.
