Oxygen at Present

Until recently (in geological terms), the atmospheric concentration of oxygen had been stable. Then mammals appeared, and among those humans who started influencing the environment by active interventions, which have led to the rise of the so-called Anthropocene—the epoch in the Earth’s development significantly impacted by the human activities.
