Broadening Horizons for Case Teaching and Research: A Discourse with Eminent Scholar-Teachers

We are inviting a panel of highly renowned scholars in the area of case teaching and research to delve into the rigor and impact of case development and case teaching in the 2020s. The panelists will bring different perspectives of this technique from their own experience in both scholarly and classroom case development. They will offer unique insights on the preparation and construction of cases and challenges of case teaching. Our panelists will unveil their perspectives, tips and techniques, and seek to push the methodological rigor and outcomes. They will build on their complementary experiences to provide an understanding of the pedagogical foundations for this instructive technique and how to create value in the individual and collective student learning process This symposium’s goal is to bring to the Academy an informed intellectual exchange and develop on the key success factors rooted in the practice of this learning approach from experienced scholar/teachers. It will help benefit the quest for better management education techniques befitting the new decade.
