Analysis and Diagnosis of Generator Step-Up Transformer Faults

The failure analysis of abnormal dissolved gas caused by structural defects were introduced in this study. Both of the oil chromatography diagnostic tests and the electrical diagnostic test were used to checks the generator step-up transformers. The location of the generator step-up transformer fault is determined and the cause of the fault is analyzed. Finally, relevant suggestions were made.
