Optimal Shape Design of Microchannel H-Cell

摘要
The purpose of this paper is to optimize a type H-microcell (HMC) structure from a geometrical perspective through an automated optimal shape design. Starting from randomly chosen parameters, the focus is, through adjusting just the angle between the common horizontal pipe and the vertical pipes constantly maintaining the horizontal contact surface and the sections of the two pipes, on a greater separation of the two substances exiting the cell, considering an unaltered value of the diffusion coefficient. The optimization was done by combining the design/simulation environments along with the NSGA-II algorithm, as the base of the improvement process proposal.
