Identification Method of Voltage Sag Exposed Area Based on Golden Section

The assessment and analysis of exposed area of transmission and distribution network can directly reflect the range of sensitive equipment affected by voltage sag, and help the power grid to identify weak links. This paper proposes a method based on the golden section method to identify the exposed area, which is based on the quadratic interpolation method and the secant iteration method, adding the golden section method to improve the algorithm. Using the traditional quadratic interpolation method and secant iteration, the exposed area of complex system can be identified accurately. With the addition of golden section method, the original method improves the accuracy of recognition on the basis of wide applicability and small amount of calculation, and overcomes the inherent shortcomings of critical distance method and fault point method.
