Organization of an Automated Heat Modes Control System through LED Lighting

The article examines a new control technology for temperature conditions on premises using white light-emitting diodes of illumination. Transmission of control signal is based on Visible Light Communications technology. The main advantage of the given approach is a significant reduction in prime cost due to absence of wirelines and use of cheap microcontrollers. Suggested system incorporates transmitting and receiving devices. Physical link is implemented using asynchronous data transmission. A new mockup of automated temperature conditions control system was created for pilot research. To control asynchronous data transmission measurements of pulse intensity and shape in receiving device were taken using an oscillograph. Pulse intensity was analysed after all electronic components but prior to entering the microcontroller. After a photocell the signal has been shown to have low amplitude and distorted pulse form so a decision was made to use two cascade amplifiers. As a result the signal at microcontroller entrance of receiving device was observed to be almost analogous to the signal from the transmitting device. The given approach indicated the potential of using optical channels incorporating white light-emitting diodes of illumination for data transmission in automated control systems.
