Metodologias lúdicas e educação alimentar e nutricional para promover o consumo de pescado em escolares

School age is the period in which there is the formation of eating habits, being the main stage for intervention with educational actions. The objective of this work was to report extension actions directed to Food and Nutrition Education with the use of a playful methodology to promote the consumption of fish in schoolchildren. It is an extension experience report with 43 students from the 4th year of a school in the municipal school system of Palmas. Different methodologies were used, such as dialogue, participatory dynamics, painting activity and cooking workshop. The effectiveness of this methodology was evaluated through the application of pre-test and post-test. Among the results, it was postulated that 83.7% of the students stated that they consume fish and 97.7% reported this being consumed by the parents, while the preference (53.5%) of the students was for the fried fish. It was observed the expansion of knowledge about the nutrients and their benefits, besides the importance of the fish consumption, which demonstrates the applicability of the playful methodologies.
