Multifunctional Radio for 6G

摘要
This paper discusses the functional requirements of 6G radio, which is driven by the emerging 6G scenarios identified by a concise interconnection model. Then, a multifunctional radio framework is proposed as a solution for 6G radio, which aims to extend the radio functions from wireless transmission to computing and sensing. The new introduced functions can be exposed to 3-party to support more emerging services. The key issues of capability exposure, unified waveforms, resource scheduling, joint data processing, and service continuity are also addressed.
