Algorithm of Spaceborne SAR Echo Simulation based on Range Horizontal Segmentation

The simulation of spaceborne SAR echo is very important in the design and verification of spaceborne SAR system. Using the traditional time domain method to simulate the echo, the accuracy is high, but the simulation time is long and the simulation speed is slow. This paper mainly studies a spaceborne SAR echo simulation algorithm based on range horizontal segmentation, which is based on the stop go model. In the simulation calculation, the oblique distance calculation of each sampling point in the target area is simplified to multiple range lines based on range direction segmentation, so as to greatly reduce the amount of range calculation and improve the simulation efficiency. The simulation results of point target and lattice target show that this method can reduce the simulation time while ensuring the simulation accuracy.
