A Cascaded Digital Trigger Method in Sub-Band Decomposition System

With the increase of signal complexity, sub-band decomposition systems that can significantly increase the system bandwidth are widely used in high-speed signal sampling. Triggering is an indispensable part of the data acquisition system, and it plays a vital role in the stable display of the waveform. The device limits the analog trigger in traditional, and a single digital trigger is difficult to find the trigger position quickly and accurately in the sub-band decomposition system. Therefore, a multi-stage cascaded digital trigger method with its realization structure was proposed in the sub-band decomposition system. Finally, on the test platform of two sub-bands with 40Gsps and 10GHz bandwidth, the correctness of the multi-stage cascaded digital triggering was verified by using the single tone signal and the fast edge signal respectively.
