POTENCIAIS CORREDORES ECOLÓGICOS ENTRE AS UNIDADES DE CONSERVAÇÃO DA REGIÃO LESTE DA BACIA DO ALTO IGUAÇU – PARANÁ

O objetivo deste trabalho foi indicar rotas potenciais para a implantação de corredores ecológicos visando a interligação das Áreas de Proteção Ambiental (APAs) da região leste da Bacia do Alto Iguaçu. Para tanto, utilizou-se de um Sistema de Informação Geográfica, onde as classes utilizadas foram: perímetro, uso e cobertura da terra, modelo digital do terreno e rede hidrográfica da bacia. Utilizou-se a metodologia de análise hierárquica de Saaty com atribuição dos pesos levando-se em consideração a área de preservação permanente (APP), declividade e uso e ocupação da terra para a determinação de rotas. Foram delimitadas seis rotas principais: duas entre as APAs de Iraí e Piraquara, uma entre Piraquara e Rio Pequeno e três entre Rio Pequeno e Guaratuba. Os corredores considerados mais adequados apresentaram a melhor configuração quanto às menores dimensões, menor percentagem de área na classe de declividade de maior custo (< 20º) e maior percentagem de área situada em classes prioritárias de uso e cobertura da terra, resultando no corredor entre Iraí e Piraquara, e entre Rio Pequeno e Guaratuba. Sendo assim, apesar de ser uma região com alto grau de antropização, percebe-se que ainda é possível a realização de conexão entre as APAs. DELIMITATION OF POTENTIALS ECOLOGICAL CORRIDORS BETWEEN THE CONSERVATION UNITS OF THE EAST REGION OF ALTO IGUAÇU BASIN - PARANA ABSTRACT: The objective of this research was indicate routes potentials to ecological corridors implementation aimed at interconnection of Environmental Protection Areas (APAs) located in the eastern part of the Alto Iguaçu Basin. For that, we used a Geographic Information System where the classes were used: perimeter, use and land cover, digital terrain model and river networks of the Sub-Basin. The Analytic Hierarchy Process by Saaty with assignment of weights taking into account the permanent preservation area (APP), slope and land use and occupation for determining routes. The weights were defined based on literature. Six main routes were defined: two of the APAs of Iraí and Piraquara, one between Piraquara and Rio Pequeno and three between Rio Pequeno and Guaratuba. Corridors considered most suitable were selected per present the best configuration as the smaller, lower percentage area in the most cost steepness class (< 20º) and higher percentage of area located in priority classes of land use and land cover, resulting in the corridor between Irai and Piraquara, and between Rio Pequeno and Guaratuba. Thus, despite being a region with a high degree of human disturbance, it is clear that with the existing areas, it is still possible to perform connection between APAs.
