Wearable Plasma Clothes of Plasma Pad, Plasma Cap, and Plasma Shoes

Wearable plasma clothes are fabricated as hybrid type of dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma treatment system, whereby the restrictions on treatment time and size of the treated area are eliminated. A flexible and wearable plasma system of various sizes can be applied to skin, head, and feet of human. The proposed clothes can be used as an effective treatment option at various sites, thereby reducing both time and spatial restrictions. The present study describes a portable plasma system involving the power system and spectroscope plasma emissions. The biocompatibility of the plasma systems (pad, cap, and shoes) and the effect of plasma treatment on wound healing and antibacterial activity are tested.
