Judgment and Prevention of Helicopter Main-Rotor Striking Tail Beam Accident in Air

This article takes a rotorcraft crash accident as an example. Through multi-angle analysis, it is judged that the accident was caused by breaking the tail beam in the air. The reason why the main rotor swings excessively against the tail beam is analyzed. Finally, the preventive measures for the main rotor excessive swing and impacting the tail beam are discussed.
