Cultivating Students' Creative Thought in Art Design Education

One of the important tasks of higher education is to cultivate students' creative thought. For art design major, it is more essential to cultivate creative ability. Creative ability is one of the centre concept and basic purpose for art design education. Thus teachers should not only cultivate students' creative thought while having design basic training course, but let students take traditional culture as basis, keep close to daily life. Students should consider daily life as the inspiration source of art design creation. Teachers should cultivate students' sense of inspiration, sense of imagination and creative thought in learning from traditional culture and daily life.
