Improved Anti-Disturbance Sliding-Mode Speed Control for Tubular Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor

In this paper, in order to optimize the speed control performance of the tubular permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (TPMLSM), a nonlinear speed control strategy based on sliding-mode control (SMC) and disturbance compensation technology is proposed. Firstly, a new sliding-mode reaching law (NSMRL) is proposed by introducing terminal attractor on the basis of exponential reaching law. The NSMRL can not only improve the reaching rate, but also effectively suppress the inherent chattering of the system. Based on the NSMRL, the sliding-mode speed controller of TPMLSM is designed. Then, an extended sliding-mode disturbance observer (ESMDO) is proposed to estimate the lumped disturbance and provide a feed-forward compensation term for the speed controller. The stability of the controller is proved by the Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, the simulation results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control strategy based on NSMRL and ESMDO.
