Tier 4 maps of soil pH at 25 m resolution for the Netherlands

•Tier 4 GlobalSoilMap products that include spatially explicit accuracy thresholds.•Assessment of map accuracy using various statistical validation strategies, including design-based inference of a probability sample.•Soil pH prediction maps at six standard depth layers between 0 m and 2 m for the Netherlands at 25 m resolution.•Quantile Regression Forest model can predict at any desired depth.•Evaluation of uncertainty using prediction interval coverage probability.
