摘要
•Evaluators can form both explicit and implicit impressions of an individual’s creativity.•Impressions are distinct from implicit positivity, such that an implicitly creative person can simultaneously be implicitly disliked.•Implicit creativity impressions can uniquely predict behavioral intentions toward the person beyond the effects of explicit judgments of creativity.•Explicit and implicit impressions diverge when the target person is working in a stigmatized domain (e.g. the inventor of a sex toy versus a running shoe).
