Reconfigurable Multi-Bands Multi-Antennas System for IoT, LTE and 5G Sub-6GHz Standards

This paper focuses on the study, design and optimization of miniature frequency agile multi-band MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) PIFAs (Planar Inverted F-Antenna) system for IoT (Internet of Things) and mobile applications in the LTE (Long Term Evolution) and 5G sub-6 GHz bands. The frequency agility of the system is achieved by a varactor diode, while the study of the characteristic modes of the ground plane, made it possible to suitably choose the position of the antennas to isolate them naturally without using the conventional methods of decoupling.
