Bruch membrane rupture and choroidal neovascularization complicating extensive macular atrophy with pseudodrusen-like appearance: a case report.

Extensive macular atrophy with pseudodrusen-like appearance could be complicated by Bruch membrane rupture and subsequent choroidal neovascularization. Antivascular endothelial growth factor intravitreal injection could have beneficial effects on this entity, but concern could raise in respect of possible increase of chorioretinal atrophy.
