CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF (enH)(enH 2 )[{Cu 2 (μ-CN)}Re 6 S 8 (CN) 6 ]

Porous framework coordination polymer (enH)(enH 2 )[Cu 2 (μ-CN)Re 6 S 8 (CN) 6 ] ( 1 ) is obtained by a reaction of Cs 2.67 K 1.33 [Re 6 S 8 (CN) 2 (OH) 4 ]·4H 2 O, CuCN, and ethylenediamine (en) under hydrothermal conditions at 150 °С. The compound crystallizes in the cubic crystal system, space group Pa3̅ , unit cell parameters a = 16.5097(2) Å, V = 4500.05(9) Å 3 , Z = 4, d cal = 2.664 g/cm 3 . The crystal structure is composed of the [Cu 2 (μ-CN)Re 6 S 8 (CN) 6 ] 3– anionic framework and protonated en molecules located in cavities. The compound obtained is characterized by X-ray crystallography, IR spectroscopy, and the elemental analysis.
