The issue will highlight best practices for developing, validating and applying this subset of CPPTs, and provide an opportunity to discuss factors that affect their performance, especially as it pertains to their clinical use and informing drug discovery.Special Issue Editors, Milka Kostic, PhD, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Bruce J. Melancon, PhD, Vanderbilt University, School of Medicine, will consider articles from the full breadth of research in the field from original research papers, reviews, and methods papers, to perspectives, profiles, commentaries, and exemplary front matter.Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: Development of drug discovery assays based on the use of fluorescent probes and toolsDevelopment and validation of probes for clinical imaging applicationsDevelopment of live cell and live animal assays for studying pharmacological properties of drugsPhenotypic screening assays using high-content imagingDeveloping imaging technologies to accelerate drug discoveryContributions will receive prompt and thorough peer review, feedback, and decision. Please refer to our Instructions for Authors before submitting your manuscript for consideration. Authors are encouraged to evaluate ideas directly with Milka Kostic, PhD (Milka_Kostic@dfci.harvard.edu).ASSAY and Drug Development Technologies provides access to novel techniques and robust tools that enable critical advances in early-stage screening. This research published in the Journal leads to important therapeutics and platforms for drug discovery and development. This reputable peer-reviewed journal features original papers application-oriented technology reviews, topical issues on novel and burgeoning areas of research, and reports in methodology and technology application. Please visit our website at www.liebertpub.com/adt to view our Information for Authors.Editorial or technical questions?Contact the Managing Editor Taylor Bowen at assay_eo@liebertpub.com.Visit the Instructions for Authors:www.liebertpub.com/adtSubmit your paper for peer review online:https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/assayFiguresReferencesRelatedDetails Volume 20Issue 3Apr 2022 InformationCopyright 2022, Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., publishersTo cite this article:Guest Editors: Milka Kostic and Bruce J.
