Localized vibrations incorporated thickness assessment of cadaveric tympanic membranes using Doppler-optical coherence tomography

•Doppler-OCT system was developed and vibration of tympanic membrane(TM) was acquired.•The phase shift and thickness map of TM were generated by mapping Doppler-OCT data.•Distribution of TM thickness to which responds to sound was shown through histogram.•By dividing area of TM, normalized responses according to frequency were compared.•Utility of quantitatively comparing of TM study using Doppler OCT was confirmed.
