Thermal and photocatalytic cascade one-pot synthesis of secondary amine using multifunctional Pd decorated MOF-derived CeO2

Thermal and photocatalytic cascade one-pot synthesis of secondary amine was achieved using benzyl alcohols and anilines over Pd(0.5%)/CeO2-300. Conventional thermal catalysis produces secondary amine at 100 °C, while Pd(0.5%)/CeO2-300 as a photocatalyst produces secondary amine by using 20 W household white LED or sunlight as a light source.
