Perfluoroalkyl substance mixtures and cardio-metabolic outcomes in highly exposed male workers in the Veneto Region: A mixture-based approach.

•Former workers of an Italian chemical factory were exposed to elevated PFAS levels.•No study was conducted among workers investigating the combined PFAS mixture effect.•The aim of this study was to examine the associations between cardiometabolic parameters with serum PFAS mixture.•Associations were found between serum PFAS levels and total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and systolic blood pressure.
