Fractional entropy and its applications in fuzzy c-means clustering

In this work, a novel fuzzy clustering method based on fuzzy c-means clustering is introduced. Indeed, in order to maximize the dissimilarity between clusters a fractional entropy, as a regularization function, is added to its objective function. Then, an explicit expression to update the partition matrix is presented.
