摘要

•Dynamic binding capacity (DBC) of novel Protein A resins can increase upon alkaline treatment.•Increase can only be observed in a small window of incubation conditions.•Increase of DBC is due to a change in mass transfer mechanism, with observed increases of de up to 40%.•A shift towards later retention volume was observed for alkaline treated resin when linear pH gradient elution is used.
