摘要

•CeSi1.2Ga0.8 alloy shows ferromagnetic ordering at 12.5(1) K.•In addition, another transition is visible at ∼8 K.•The influence of the crystal field is seen in electrical resistance and Seebeck coefficient.•For the field change of 5 T, the magnetic entropy change is −6.5(1) J/(kg K).•The RCP value was found to be 51(1) J/kg for 5 T field change.
