摘要
Quantitative traits (QTs) are highly heritable. Estimation of QT is important for the risk factor characterization that would help in localising the genetic susceptibility factors. Primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG) is one of the leading causes of blindness worldwide, especially in the east and southeast Asia. A couple of risk factors including narrow-angle between iridotrabecular contacts and increased lens thickness leading to shallow anterior chambers are present in the anatomically predisposed eyes, which could raise intraocular pressure followed by optic neuropathy and subsequent blindness.
