摘要

•Effects of citrate acid, solidum silicate and their compound on properties of carbonated MOS cement.•Citric acid or the compound improved the mechanical strength of both carbonated and uncarbonated MOS cement.•Carbonation contributed to reduction in flexural strength and the increase of brittleness.•More MgCO3 were generated at cement surface with more carbonation exposure.
