Machine learning techniques for prediction of recurrence after curative resection in the patients with rectal cancer

Background: The patients who have rectal cancer without distant metastases are usually treated with radical surgery. Several factors can affect tumor recurrence after curative resection. This study aimed to analyze the factors related to recurrence after curative rectal cancer surgery, using variable machine learning techniques.
