摘要
In the last 40 years, the use of human milk as the primary nutritional source for infants born preterm has changed from being a debatable novelty1,2 to being a de facto standard of care,3 either as mother's own milk (MOM) or, if MOM supply is inadequate, as donor human milk. Despite this, as 2 articles in this volume of The Journal remind us,4,5 there remains much to learn, or to re-learn, about the use of human milk in infants born preterm.
