Development of gas detection software based on FTIR imaging spectrum

Imaging spectroscopy technology has developed rapidly in the past 30 years and plays an important role in atmospheric remote sensing and environmental monitoring. But how to deal with the huge spectral data has become a major problem in current engineering applications. At present, the imaging spectrum processing software, such as PCI Geomatica, Erdas Imagine, Envi, etc. They require high computer performance, and are difficult to operate and meet a wide range of needs. Based on MATLAB, we developed a software for processing FTIR imaging spectral data, which uses techniques such as wavelet denoising, image threshold segmentation and Simeon Denis Poisson image fusion to identify the target gas region in the imaging spectral data, by adding pseudo-color to mark the target gas outline, and combining with the visible light image of the same area. We have realized the visualization of the two-dimensional spatial distribution of the target gas, which can intuitively display the spatial distribution and emission state of the gas.
