Optimal Business Expanding of Distribution Network Considering Integration of Electric Vehicle Charging Station

The business expanding of distribution network (DN) considering integration of electric vehicle charging station (EVCS) is an important step of the construction of EVCSs. The optimization model of business expanding for EVCS integrated to medium-voltage DN is proposed. Based on the path planning method combined with the artificial potential field (APF) and the improved rapidly-exploring random tree (RRT), the power lines planning method integrating EVCS to medium voltage DN is proposed. Numerical results show that the construction cost of power line is effectively reduced by the proposed optimization method of business expanding compared with the traditional method.
