PhageCocktail: An R package to design phage cocktails from experimental phage-bacteria infection networks

•Presentation and explanation of four computer methods to design phage cocktails.•Clustering* methods are very fast and Exhaustive* methods have the highest accuracy.•The four methods have been included in an R package that is available for any user.•A complete experimental study, evaluating the runtime and biological quality.•Analysis of the impact when additional phages are included in the cocktail.
