The deposition of NiPd bimetal onto ZnIn2S4 surface to form NiPd-ZnIn2S4 Schottky heterojunction shows the enhanced photocatalytic hydrogen evolution performance due to the synergistic effects of increased light harvesting capacity, efficient charge carrier separation and facilitated photogenerated electrons transfer.
